Top 5 Dining and Restaurants Apps in Kenya Q2 2024

This quarter, the top dining and restaurant apps in Kenya have shown varied performance in terms of downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at how each app fared during Q2 2024.

Chicken Inn experienced a significant fluctuation in weekly downloads. Starting with just over 500 downloads in the first week of April, the app saw a sharp rise to over 6.3K downloads by mid-April. The downloads then varied, peaking again at 3.5K in the week of May 20 before settling to around 854 downloads by the end of June.

Pizza Inn Kenya also demonstrated a dynamic download pattern. The app began with nearly 2K downloads in early April, surged to over 5K downloads in mid-April, and experienced fluctuations throughout the quarter. By the end of June, downloads had decreased to approximately 1.2K.

KFC Kuwait - Order Food Online maintained a relatively steady download rate. The app started with around 500 downloads, saw a slight increase to over 700 downloads by the end of April, and remained fairly consistent around the 500-download mark through June. Weekly active users for this app showed a minor decline from 2.1K to 2.2K, with a notable increase to 2.5K in the second week of April.

CJs KENYA had a stable download performance, starting with 342 downloads in the first week of April and maintaining an average of around 300 to 400 downloads throughout the quarter. The app peaked at 411 downloads in the last week of May.

RedPlus displayed a modest download trend, beginning with around 396 downloads. The app saw a slight dip to 185 downloads in mid-April but recovered to around 372 downloads by mid-June, ending the quarter with 284 downloads.
